18th Annual Women’s Health Luncheon & Lecture
April 29th, 2019
Since 2000, the Mills-Peninsula Women’s Health Luncheon and Lecture has brought thought provoking discussions to the Peninsula while also raising more than 6.5 million dollars to help underserved populations receive quality healthcare.
Proceeds of this year’s event will support free mammograms and care for underserved women in our local community.
About the Speaker
Dr. Vonda Wright is the Chief of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics for the Northside Hospital System and previously served as the inaugural Medical Director of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex where she built an integrated multi-disciplinary sports medicine practice.
Dr. Wright is an orthopaedic surgeon and internationally recognized authority on active aging and mobility specializing in sports medicine and minimally invasive arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder hip and knee. Dr. Wright’s pioneering research in musculoskeletal aging and mobility is changing the way we view injury and the aging process.

In support of the Northern California Chapter, CHME seeks to engage and network with new and seasoned case managers, and bring to the table our expertise in the DME industry. We will be providing industry tools and updates to assist in carrying out effective care coordination in discharge planning efficiently, with respects to DME.
